Grant Description

Based on the news release from the Embassy of China in Micronesia, on October 18, 2017, a handover ceremony was held for the Pohnpei-Port Moresby Air Route Subsidy for Air Niugini.

Ambassador Li Jie and FSM Deputy Secretary of the DFA Samson Pretrick signed the donation hand over certificate (worth $800,000 USD). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
