Grant Description

According to the news release from the Ministry of Foreign Affair of China and the Ministry of Finance of China, Myanmar and China decided to establish the China-Myanmar Agricultural Cooperation Committee in 2014 and advance the progress of constructing an Agricultural Demonstration Center.

The formation of the committee is under the instruction of the "Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Myanmar on Deepening Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation between the Two Countries," which was signed on November 2014. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
