Grant Description

On February 23, 2012, Chinese and Micronesian government officials signed a handover certificate in which China agreed to donate $50,000 USD of emergency assistance to help the Government of Micronesia control the dengue fever outbreak in Yap. The Micronesian legislature passed a resolution on March 29, 2012 approving of this grant.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
