Grant Description

On August 21, 2009, China donated two new fire trucks to the Fiji National Fire Authority. Mr.

Fei Mingxing, Charge D'affaires of Chinese Embassy and Colonel Samuela Saumatua, Minister for Local Government, Urban Development, Housing and Environment attended the launch in Suva.

The trucks were worth FJD 600,000 Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
