Chinese Government provides Municipal Power Supply to Support the Tuna Processing Facilities Project (or Fish Processing Plant at Blacksands Project) (Linked to Record ID#39294, #73689)

On November 19, 2008, the Chinese Ambassador and the Vanuatu Minister of Agriculture signed letters of exchange for the provision of cash assistance for municipal power supply expenses for the Tuna processing plant (or 援瓦水产品加工厂项目市政供电现汇援助). The plant itself was built through a Chinese grant also approved in 2008.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
