Grant Description

On August 11, 2013, Prime Minister Henry Puna met with the Chinese ambassador during the first of a series of bilateral discussions in Wellington.

During the meeting, China agreed to the proposed allocation for the remainder of the grant fund, with NZ $1.5 million allocated to the Northern Group Roofing Supplies Project. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
