Grant Description
On October 19, 2015, the Chinese, Australian, and Papua New Guinean governments jointly signed the Trilateral Cooperation Subsidiary Arrangement for the Australia-China-Papua New Guinea Pilot Cooperation on Malaria Control.
According to the Lowy Institute Pacific Aid platform, in 2016, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce granted $700,000 for the China-Australia-PNG Malaria Control Trilateral Development Cooperation Pilot Project. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
