Grant Description
On October 15th, 2009, 30 Vanuatu Government Officials started Human Resources training in China (or 援外人力资源培训项目).
The training included 15 classes which, according to the press release from the Chinese Government ("我援外人力资源培训项目受到瓦努阿图政府的欢迎和好评") cover "inspection and quarantine [of foreign aid], tourism management, sports, health, trade and investment, and new energy." The course lasted from October 15 to November 4, 2009.
Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
