Grant Description

On July 17, 2017, China's Guangdong Provincial Government donated medical equipment and medicine worth FJD 270,000 to Fiji's Ministry of Health for use at the Navua Hospital.

This donation by Guangdong Province is meant to help relieve the pain and suffering of the patients and enhance the capacity of Fiji’s medical service, contributing to China-Fiji medical and health cooperation. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
