Grant Description

On July 18, 2017, 30 Sierra Leonean students arrived in China for a three-week-long training on urbanization construction management, organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

These 30 participants were from different ministries, departments, and agencies including Ministries of Agriculture and Tourism, Sierra Leone Roads Authority, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Freetown City Council. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
