Grant Description

In June 2017, Chinese military sent the 2nd team of Military Medical Experts consisting of 14 experts from the People's Liberation Army to Sierra Leone.

The team was tasked with helping Sierra Leone's armed forces building a modern center for prevention of infectious diseases in the post-Ebola era (China military medical team treats more than 70 disaster-affected people in Sierra Leone). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
