Grant Description

On February 22, 2011, the Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Kuang Weilin and Sierra Leone's Minister of Health and Sanitation, Zainab Hawa Bangura signed the certificate of handing-over of Ribavirin worth $80,000. The medicine will be used for curing Lasha Fever, one of the epidemics prevalent in the Eastern province.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
