Grant Description

In November 7, 2017, the Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone Wu Peng and Sierra Leone's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement in Freetown, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and Chinese Embassy.

The agreement will promote the development of bilateral cooperation between China and Sierra Leone to a higher level. The amount and the sub-projects of the ETCA are unknown. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
