Grant Description

In May 2011, the Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Kuang Weilin, and Sierra Leonean Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Joseph Bandabla Dauda exchanged notes for China to provide medical equipment, anti-malaria medicine as well as malaria treatment devices to Sierra Leone, according to the Chinese Embassy in May 2011.

These notes were exchanged next to an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement on the same occasion (Record ID#62697). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
