Chinese Government provides grant for construction of two primary schools to Masingbi and Makeni communities

On May 14, 2012, the Chinese Government and the Government of Sierra Leone signed an exchange of letters, which committed grant funding for the construction of two primary schools in Masingbi and Makeni communities within the Northern Province. The monetary value of this grant commitment is unknown.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
