China Donates Equipment to Monitor Air Quality in Havana

On October 29, 2015, China donated high-technology equipment for the monitoring of air quality in different locations of Havana. This donation will contribute to environmental preservation and the health of the population.

One of the planned stations is installed and is full-functioning in the headquarters of el Consejo de la Administración Municipal de San Miguel de Padrón, where representatives of China and Cuba signed the corresponding Certificate of Delivery. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
