Grant Description

On 15 May 2017, the Chinese Government granted wildlife protection equipment worth 15 million NAD to Namibia.

The donation includes: 30 pickup vehicles, 500 tents, 600 moisture proof pads, 600 sleeping bags, 100 binoculars, 100 solar power batteries, and 1000 mosquito nets. The donation will be used by anti-poaching law enforcement units supporting conservation efforts in Namibia. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
