Grant Description

In section 3.2 on page 31 of the National Planning Commission report, during the 2015/16 fiscal year, China provided 10 million RMB to spend on equipment for the University of Namibia (UNAM).

This could be the same lab equipment for the UNAM Ongwediva Campus referenced in a 2009 Chinese Ambassador speech, but there are no sources confirming this. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
