China grants $2.5 million USD for government expenses in Micronesia (Linked to Record ID#61580, #61582, #61583, #69211, #69212, #69213, #69215)

On November 28, 2005 during a meeting between the President of Micronesia and the Chinese Vice Foreign Minister, a Chinese government official signed an agreement granting $2.5 million USD to the Government of the Federated States of Micronesia.

According to a congressional resolution (CR No. 14-54), the grant funds would be allocated as follows: Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
