Grant Description

On September 18, 2006, the Chinese Government and the Government of Madagascar signed letters of exchange related to a donation of agriculture equipment.

On October 24, 2007, the Chinese Government t officially handed over 30 tractors and other equipment to Madagascar’s Ministry of Agriculture to fulfill the commitment. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
