Grant Description

On March 25, 2010, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture sent 5 experts to Madagascar to host a seminar on the cultivation of hybrid rice strains. The rice can be grown more effectively than other strains, allowing farmers to produce more food. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
