Grant Description

On October 21, 2013, the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan and the South Sudanese Minister of Health signed a memorandum of understanding for China to send its second medical team to South Sudan.

The team arrived in South Sudan on February 26, 2014 and the South Sudanese Ministry of Health held a welcome ceremony for them on March 3, 2014. The team consisted of 12 members from Anhui province. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
