Grant Description

On May 24, 2011, Mr.

Wei Hongtian, Charge D’affairs of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia handed over a donation from the Embassy to H.E. Mr.

Ahmed Nasser, President of the Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State of Ethiopia, to support the construction of the rural roads in the State. The exact monetary value of the donation is unclear. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
