Grant Description

On December 23rd 2015, Chinese government donated tractors, three-wheeled motorcycles, hoes and mattresses to the district of Kayunga.

The Chinese government gave the donation to Uganda as a Christmas gift along with the message of continued cooperation on the Isimba Hydropower plant (#36216). The value of these donations is not known. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
