Grant Description

On 12 September 2017, China Donates Modern Weather Equipment to Kenya Meteorological Department.

The donation includes equipment for five automatic weather stations (5套自动气象站设备) intended to upgrade meteorological infrastructure in Kenya. One station was installed at the University of Nairobi's College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
