Grant Description

In 2005, China’s Ministry of Commerce provided an RMB 78 million grant to the Government of Benin for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and African Integration (MAEIA) Building Construction Project.

This project involved the construction of a new administrative building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and African Integration (MAEIA) with four stories in the capital city of Cotonou. It occupies an area of 11,853 square meters. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
