Grant Description

In September 2017, the Chinese government provided 17,000 tons of wheat in food aid worth 100 million yuan. The aid was given in response to an estimated 7.88 million people in Ethiopia in need of food assistance. The food was distributed to Oromia, Amhara, Farr, Harald, and Southern States in Ethiopia.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
