Grant Description

Chinese government provides RMB 100 million interest-free loan to Republic of Congo in 2014 On June 12, 2014, during the president of Republic of Congo Sassou N'Guesso's visit to China, Presidents Sassou N'Guesso and Xi Jinping initialed two economic and technical cooperation agreements totaling RMB 200 million, including a RMB 100 million interest-free loan (captured in this project) and a RMB 100 million grant (described in #59506).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
