Grant Description

On May 25, 2010, representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Senegal donated office equipment to Senegal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This donation completes a pledge from the special representative of the Chinese Government on African Affairs (中国政府非洲事务特别代表) Guijin Liu(刘贵今) made when he visited Senegal in July 2009.

This donation included computers that were designed to improve working conditions for employees of Senegal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
