China aids Cameroon in construction of Meteorological Facilities

According to China's Embassy in Cameroon, on January 26th, 2015, Chinese ambassador Wei Wenhua and Cameroon's Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development signed an agreement for China to aid in the construction of Cameroon's Meteorological Facilities (气象设施项目).

As of November 2017 when referring to the meteorological facility projects undertaken by China in 7 African nations, one of which being Cameroon, the China Meteorological Administration said that "the first batch of construction assistance work is nearing completion" (China Meteorological Administration).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
