Grant Description
In 2017, the Chinese Government awarded 150 Zambian students various scholarships in China.
Fifty-two students won the Chinese Government Scholarship, 6 won the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China (YES CHINA) Master Program, 9 won the Confucius Institute Scholarship Program, 50 students are on university-specific scholarships in varying subjects, and the last 33 accepted other, unspecified scholarship programs offered by the Chinese Government.
Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
