Grant Description

In August and September 2014, China donated 70 containers containing 3,800 tons of rice to South Sudan for humanitarian aid.

A ceremony handing over the first batch was held on August 28, and the rest was handed over during a second ceremony on September 22. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
