Grant Description

Chinese Government pledges loan for Road to Knowledge from Modibo Keita International Airport to the Kabala Campus of Bamako University In November 2017, during the 2nd session of the Joint Commission for Economic, Commercial and Technical Cooperation between the Government of Mali and the Chinese Government, Malian Minister of Finance Boubou Cissé signed an agreement with the Chinese Government related to the financing of the "Road to Knowledge" (la Route du Savoir) Project, which will run from Modibo Keita International Airport to the Kabala Campus of Bamako University (with multiple interchanges at the Kalabankoro crossing).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
