Grant Description

China provides Mali 50 million yuan interest-free loan as part of economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA) On May 10, Liu Qi, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mali, and Boubacar Sidiki Valbani, Director of the Mali Public Debt Directorate of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Mali, signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA).

The ETCA provided a 50 million RMB interest-free loan and a 70 million RMB grant to Mali for unspecified purposes. This project captures the 50 million RMB interest-free loan. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
