Grant Description

On May 10, 2011, Liu Qi, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mali, and Boubacar Sidiki Valbani, Director of the Mali Public Debt Directorate of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Mali, signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA). The ETCA provided a 50 million RMB interest-free loan and a 70 million RMB grant to Mali for unspecified purposes.

This project captures the 70 million RMB grant. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
