Grant Description

An MOU was signed on December 5th of 2011 between China and Cameroon for the China-Cameroon Capsule Endoscopy New Diagnostic and Clinical Technology Demonstration and Training Center at the Yaounde Women and Children Hospital in Cameroon.

The center was built by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and implemented by Chongqing Jinshan Technology (Group) Co., Ltd.

The company has presented a batch of capsule endoscopic equipment and capsules to Yaounde Women and Children Hospital as well as conducted a four-day technology training for local doctors. The center and training was completed on December 10th, 2011 (Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
