Grant Description

On June 2, 2015, the Chinese embassy granted 18.1 million kwacha to to the Malawi Government through Ministry of Trade and Industry for the Malawi Investment Forum (MIF). The grant is for the international investment forum in Malawi, according to MOFCOM and the Malawi News Agency. The event will take place at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.

Over 300 investors from all over the world attended the forum. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
