Grant Description

In 2017, China pledged to finance and build phase III of a water treatment plant in Goudel region, Niamey, Niger.

According to the French Development Agency (AFD), this project was co-financed by AFD, International Development Association (IDA), and the West African Development Bank (BOAD). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
