Grant Description

On April 1, 2014, China and Rwanda both signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA).

Under this agreement, the Chinese government granted 50 million RMB to Rwanda to help reduce poverty under the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS 2) program (captured in #36101). Other subprojects of this agreement are unknown. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
