Grant Description

On May 31, 2017, China donated medicine and medical supplies to Guinea-Bissau's Canchungo Regional Hospital. The Chinese Ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, Jin Hongjun, as well as the Mayor of Canchungo, attended the ceremony.

The director of Canchungo Hospital and Xie Wei, the leader of China's medical team in Guinea-Bissau, signed the certificate of the donation handover at the handover ceremony.

This medical equipment handover project appears to be an annual event, as seen in previous projects such as #53246 in 2016. The value of this project is unknown. This project is completed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
