Grant Description

On May 18, 2009, the Chinese government signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement with the government of Ghana.

Under this agreement, China granted 20 million RMB to Ghana for the construction of schools, roads, and the development of agriculture in the country. The agreement was signed by Ghana's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Kwabena Duffour. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
