Grant Description

On August 31, 2006, China donated $100,000 USD in cash assistance to Cape Verde to help prevent the spread of bird flu.

On this date, the cash assistance was officially handed over to Cape Verdean government through the signing of its handover certificate. This project is completed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
