Grant Description
In 2017, the People's Republic of China offered scholarships to more than 40 Eritrean students for a masters degree program in China.
According to the Foreign Affairs Factiva source, every year there are 40 Eritrean students studying various fields in China. The value of these scholarships is unknown. Besides studying their majors, these Eritrean students will also learn about the Chinese language and culture. This project is completed.
Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
