Grant Description
On February 26, 2004, Chinese and Cabo Verdean government officials signed an exchange of notes regarding the Government Office Building Rehabilitation Project. China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) was the source of grant funding for this project.
It committed $2.5 million of grant funding in total, drawing these funds from one or more Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements (ETCAs) signed by the two governments. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
