Grant Description

According to Chinese Ambassador Liu Quan in a speech on August 28, 2018, China will send 400 Surinamese trainees to China in 2018.

The trainees were a part of 5 bilateral training programs in the following fields: diplomacy, mushroom cultivation, governance, industrial park creation, and police training.

This project is linked to a scholarship project in 2018 in which China sent 10-13 Surinamese students to study in China (#56505). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
