Grant Description

On April 24th, 2009, officials from China and Suriname signed an agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Suriname that provided Suriname with a grant from China. The amount and purpose of the grant are not specified.

The grant agreement was signed by Chinese ambassador Su Ge and by Surinamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Kraag-Keteldijk and Minister of Finance Hildenberg. The agreement also included an additional unallocated, unspecified, interest-free loan (#56504).
