China donates 1.3 million RMB of sports equipment to Indian Ocean Island Games organizing committee in Seychelles (Linked to Record ID#69035, #32642, #71415)

On 28 July 2011, at the opening ceremony of the Chinese-built National Swimming Pool (see Record ID#32642), the Chinese Government officially donated equipment worth 1.3 million RMB to the Seychellois organizing committee of the 8th Indian Ocean Island Games in preparation for hosting the event in Victoria.

The donation included sportswear, large-screen TVs, water dispensers, stretchers, and other unspecified materials. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
