Grant Description

In 2008, the management committee of St. Paul initiated the renovation of the St. Paul's Community Center and facilities due to severe deterioration.

A series of project proposals were drafted, resulting in the receipt of EC$177,300 (~68,000 USD) from the Chinese and Grenadian governments; the split was 86% China and 14% Grenada. On March 20, 2010 the temporary employment of 15 people and rehabilitation work began. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
