Grant Description

In September 2006, China signed 20 million RMB economic and technical cooperation agreement with St. Lucia. The Chinese Foreign Affairs Minister, Li Zhaoxing, signed the agreements on behalf of the Chinese government. The 20 million RMB was left unallocated for projects to be decided upon by the two governments at a later date.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
