China Eximbank provides $8.48 million loan for improvement of the meliorative network of arable land in central Ferghana On February 14, 2008, China Eximbank provided a $8.48 million loan to the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan for improvement of the meliorative network of arable land in central Ferghana.

The total budget for the project was $20.5 million. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
